Discovering future values of a global organisation to drive change
The Challenge
A multinational corporation aimed to unearth its future values as a catalyst for accelerating growth, fostering employee engagement, reshaping work methodologies, and cultivating a unified corporate culture.
The Journey
To embark on this transformative journey, we orchestrated an employee-centric process that delved deep into the core of the organisation's values. Embracing a grassroots approach, we amalgamated insights from existing data sources and gleaned fresh perspectives from employees through diverse engagement methods. We formed a dynamic hybrid project team and enlisted the expertise of a task force representing a rich tapestry of nationalities, locations, job functions, and organisational hierarchies. Over the course of six months, we seamlessly collaborated, facilitating creative endeavors spanning across 30 countries.
Our commitment to inclusivity and participation was instrumental in gaining the buy-in and fostering awareness of the newly discovered values. This approach bore fruit, with a remarkable 81% awareness rate achieved within just two months of the initiative's launch.
My Role
I co-designed and facilitated this transformative process, hand in hand with a counterpart from the corporate entity. Together, we championed a participatory approach that empowered employees and paved the way for a future grounded in shared values and a vibrant corporate culture.
