Transforming design company's culture toward self-organizing with rapid experimentation mindset
The challenge
In an ever-evolving business landscape and amid rising employee expectations, our client, a design company, aspired to maintain its status as a vibrant workplace. Their goal was to empower their professionals to outpace market growth rates, ensuring the delivery of top-tier quality work for their clients while attracting the finest talent in the industry.
The solution
We wanted to revolutionise the organisation's structure, placing individual employees at the heart of the transformation. We recognized the significance of each team member's skills, goals, motivations, and ambitions. To bring this vision to life, we introduced the first iteration of the new organizational model.
We initiated a bold time-boxed experiment, inviting every member of the company to actively contribute to the model's development. During this intensive period, we delved into uncharted territory, gaining valuable insights, acquiring new knowledge, and meticulously measuring the impact of our changes.
My role
I co-designed the approach, lead the experiment, and facilitated its evolution alongside our dedicated team. Together, we were committed to reshaping the company's culture and nurturing a dynamic environment that thrived on innovation and self-organisation.
